Blueprint Boulder will address the questions "How do we create the best Boulder possible?" and "What makes for a
great neighborhood?" BB is intended to facilitate and enrich public dialogue around issues of good urban community
design; we aim to improve and protect the physical environment and the quality of life in the City of Boulder while
achieving the following goals:

* Open the current Boulder planning vision to public debate, analysis and refinement so that it most accurately
reflects the public’s desires.

* Educate all participants as to how current land use codes and public policy support or inhibit execution of the vision,
and how all issues are interdependent.

* Stimulate cross-pollenization of ideas by bringing together groups with traditionally different agendas and areas of expertise.

* Establish an atmosphere of respectful understanding of the variety of opinions on any given issue.

* Add momentum and transparency to the existing public & city staff process.

* Directly engage city policy-makers and the public in a grassroots forum.

* Inspire fresh ideas by introducing outside expertise & examples.

Change happens. We have the ability and responsibility to manage that change for the optimal public benefit
while simultaneously respecting the rights of the property owners. We seek to foster a respectful and healthy process
as we focus on the issue of how to best manage our development, growth and change.
